Update,

Been out most of the day today so not had too much time to work on the Mini. I got straight to it when I got home though and have built up and fitted the drivers side radius arm and suspension.

Here's a few pictures, radius arm rebuilt -

2692da8891e4d67cf96bc8d24db7eba9_zpscb10

fff402901c68bc0a050b6a760bc03e29_zps10b5

It was getting quite dark at this point, so I had to rig up a light in the gazebo as it was getting hard to see what I was doing. I had to use the flash on the camera so excuse the picture quality from here on.

Radius arm fitted to the subframe -

aaec272d3a7d0ad4a719b04d35b399a0_zps88f5

Suspension built up -

f391188c45c37b3b1b57b47a3a4ebc4c_zpsedd2

And fitted to the car along with the shock and brake hose -

2b74bc5420ad2b8d014f29c6685a79b2_zps702b

That's all the progress for today but I'm going to finish off the front passenger side running gear tomorrow, then I've just got to sort out my wheels and she'll be rolling :-)

Update,

Another big milestone has been reached today, she's now rolling for the first time in almost a year :-)

I'll start with what I picked up from Minispares yesterday, some genuine Minifins and a couple of other things that were needed to get her rolling -

2773bce7058a373eb49ed14009faf5ac_zps75c7

Keyed the surface of the lower arm pin with a scotch pad and zinc primed it -

5df9a5ac432a707c097e7c18bc488b26_zps1e73

Wire brushed the rear wheel studs and zinc primed those -

571dc58c4199ebdc2fb74d7423216834_zps4ee0

Give them a coating of gloss black paint -

efcc4c0e3a4708d293c6352bb4f6af46_zps52a7

Fitted the bearings into the other rear hub -

c422bd5a981c571b2a762bf4335a550b_zps6c96

2024a02df255cd9f5e4db653b6c52cde_zps3c55

Then fitted the wheel studs into the hub and the hubs to the radius arm -

f0c2e4a1f69ddae15790eabec17026fc_zps5650

bce53d3d1c278d7152e24aed19210a6c_zpscb34

And fitted my Minifins with a smiffys bits stainless screw, i think they look amazing -

bd0927c84e35c963ce2a34e8c86461c2_zpsd2e4

030a4ca4e4e35661f9129d04262261ff_zpsdc96

Just got to get some aluminium center caps from Smiffys Bits when his shop re-opens and that will finish that area off nicely. Then it was onto the front, built up the passenger side hub -

9e84df11010e94b7ca11a93d4fe51b14_zps884c

And got the running gear built up both sides ready to accept the drive shafts -

90cdef9ef7f40f3d9374a44a9fa58f14_zpsf59f

d9e4b668007b5700cc14525165cab4aa_zpsdf7c

I degreased, wire brushed and painted the CV joints -

1093e0bc7265965ac140b0d01c0f78e3_zps8f6a

Packed those full of grease and then fitted them to the drive shafts with new gaitors -

34345ec5bb879516201d912a8864d96f_zpsbfcd

cede7d628a527ad09d253f9995720140_zps2708

Popped the CV joints into the hub and fitted the disks and drive flanges -

48fd2b79d6ff411d9766a52939fc7bf6_zps80f8

301c658499e5a5e494089023f9cdaec9_zpsef37

Didn't bother fitting the calipers as I've got to torque everything up tomorrow as I ran out of time today. Anyway I absolutley could not resist getting a couple of split rims out to see how they looked -

3910dfb4799712a373c037b2914fb36b_zpse42a

43115f91c283a4743e7c6bfc4251efdf_zps7236

6e95fadf3d270b174cd0dcd18b5c7680_zps1b49

There's a nice amount of wheel poke so I'm a happy chappy -

3e63bc8380d2cf108a1f9a0e947a248d_zps6930

And then down on all fours for real, I've stolen my dads wheels for the time being :-) (excuse the picture as it was getting dark) -
