Been waiting for an update - some real good progress, can't wait to see it in paint.

Cheers Jared,

Me either, then just got the mammoth task of putting it all back together again, should be interesting !

I know how you feel, exactly what I have to do with mine now as well.

Good luck, i literally have no order to any of the parts I've removed. Just bags of random nuts and bolts !

A novice mistake !

Update,

Been doing the last couple of jobs today, again, nothing to interesting but their all jobs that needed doing.

I'll start with the doors, zinc primed the edges and applied some sealer. Here's the drivers door -

Forgot to take a picture of the door gapping's now I've finished them, will do so tomorrow before she goes.

Sealed up the heel board -

And a couple of other places -

Applied a bit of filler to the bonnet and flatted it back, only a quick skim though as after all, that's what I'm paying the body shop to do -

Drilled the holes for the companion bin pockets and test fitted those -

And did a few other jobs, not really worth taking pictures of though.

Tomorrow's the big day so will update with some more pictures then !

How long do they expect it will take to paint it mate?

That sealer is so neat. I shall be cheating with my doors and using seam tape. with just normal sealer on the 90 degree corner.

I am genuinely looking forward to seeing this in paint! Bet you are!!

They said between 2 - 4 weeks, but there's a LOT of prep work needed so we shall see.

Never heard of seam tape, will take a look at that, sounds like good stuff.

Can't wait mate, can't believe I'm actually at this stage
