I've not updated this for a couple of weeks as I've been busy racing my metro.
However I got a fair bit done this weekend and hopefully a bit more this weekend, anyway I got both sill sections welded on yesterday and rescued a couple more brackets from the old load floor. Next up will be the a panels, I will have to try the shell on for that to get the door gaps right. Here are the pictures

In order to get the a panels correctly aligned I had to fit the body onto the floor to check that the doors are going to sit somewhere near to where they need to be.

First thing was to clean up the lower parts of the a pillars

Then I sat the body back on

Then I tacked on the inner a panels and hung the doors for a quick check, surprisingly both sides were nearly spot on!

Once I was happy I welded the inner a panels on properly, fortunately I still have quite some adjustment in the hinges should I need it

My load floor arrived today, it looks ok although I am a bit disappointed it has no lip for the rear valence, this means I will have to weld in the lower rear door step.

Somerford mini spares or m-machine do them, I would guess that somerford are getting them from m-machine though.

I won these rear lower corner panels on eBay because the Hadrian ones I got actually are the worst effort at producing a panel I have ever seen! I literally could have done better with a vice and a hammer, see the comparison here, the lower Seam actually has a pressed corner compared to bits cut out and it's generally nicely shaped.

null_zps51ad945f.jpg
should clean up nice

I sand blasted the front load floor strengthening gusset and got it spot welded onto the floor section.

I've also decided on a color, tweed grey, but I am torn between white wheels and roof or black wheels and roof??? What do you guys think?
