So I stripped it all down
Sand blasted all the panels
A coat of black paint
And rebuilt with new screws

Looking great
What's your sand blasting set up?
I have just got a small pot blaster, its really good but you need a decent compressor to keep up with it. For small bits like this i justy use it in the garden and dont worry about recycling the grit.

Very impressive if I'm being picky the only fault I can find is it doesn't belong to me
Top job well done.

That engine is looking sharp!
I love the bare machined edges and unpainted core plugs. I'm planning to do the same with mine. It looks so much better.
It's all the little things..

Much better when than when people paint over bolts and brackets that they leave on.

Loving this, amazing attention to detail. Tom, thanks for naming your wheels. I've got the same except in 10', and been trying to find out who makes them for months! Keep the pictures flowing!
