+1 on that. Do it before you move the car again and make sure the doors close ok.

I got the rear subframe stripped down today, it's not actually that bad but it will need replacing.
It started off like this

After a few hours it looked like this

Also it had these interesting spacers behind the radius arm brackets seemingly to give some more rear toe out, is this a van thing or has somebody fitted them, they look fairly factory.

A little more done today, the front subframe is all apart, this looks in good condition so I will reuse it hopefully, the front hubs are metro ones I believe with 4 pot calipers perhaps somebody can confirm this? I won't be fitting them back on as I shall be using 10 inch wheels.

Here are a couple of pictures

The c2 is my dads car, and we are currently doing an engine rebuild on the scania, it's not mine. I did used to do autograss yes, I was sc9 though it's surprising how many people recognise my name still! the last race I did must have been about 6 years ago, I will have to make a point of going to a championship round this year to watch.

A parcel arrived today :)

null_zpsea953024.jpg

It's my new bulkhead panel, it was reduced in the mini sport sale so I thought it would be a good time to get it
