I have just read this all the way through as well. Very impressed with the technique used to get this sorted. Great work and I'll be following the rest of the build as well now.

There was a little bit of rust at the back of the roof so I got a section welded in there and I also got the upper frame part joined together ready to go in.

well the best part about most builds is that they're never REALLY done! come on, if you've ever modded a car you know that haha.

...but I do know what you mean

Not updated this for a while, I have got the rear gutter section welded in now and one side corner shaped, just need to add a tab on the inside for the rear door latch

Made a start on the filler work today, I started on the worse aeras first

null_zps996acaf7.jpg

And after lots of sanding I ended up with this

null_zps895f57a6.jpg

Once I had done with the filler I have to whole panel a coat of self leveling finishing glaze to remove any smaller imperfections in the panel

null_zps3bd3a056.jpg

I guide coated it and flatted it down, the guide coat helps you to see when you have got it all

One it was all done it looked like this

Then a bit of primer just so I could have a quick visual check on the repair

Just got the rest of the car to do now! Luckily most of the bits are new so it won't be too bad.
