Nice job & a great inspiration for a solid build ! Are you fitting a rear valance closing panel ?

Yeah it turned up today actually, just have to bend it a little to get it in but I wanted to put a few welds on the inside of the rear valance anyway so no worries

I got the rear inner valance in last night, all spot welded but there's just a couple of bits I need to finish off with the mig

And I cleaned out the holes in the floor where the extension piece overlapped it

I had a couple of hours today so I got the lower dash rail all cleaned up and welded to the new shelf section. I can get this welded into the shell now.

Oh, minispares. The front section is available too but it's about £45 that's why I reused my own.

Then tried on the padded rail to make sure it's all fitting correctly

I also knocked up some plates for the floor where the rear seat legs rest, they must be just a van thing as I've not seen them on any other models?

Should get them welded in tommorow

Also welded in the spare wheel bracket, moved it slightly from the origional position and gone for a more symmetrical approach

The last main bit of rot to sort out is along the rear roof gutter, I've got a local fabrication shop to knock me up a panel to replace it, here is the rust in question

null_zpsf68b72d4.jpg

Here it is now that I've got it cut out and cleaned up ready for the new bit

My drivers side door arrived today too so I hung that for a trial run and check alignment. All seems pretty good so far.
