In short no, search YouTube there is a video showing how wobbly they are, i personally wouldn't want to run one as any sort of impact or aggressive steering movement will bend it
I have seen one (not sure if its the same one as the one you mention), but that was a bit staged. I have read a few reviews that are all positive, but don't know anyone who has actually had one.

RMD I have heard of, and not for good reasons:

JJC do a budget range so I may investigate them.

well i had a car with a RMD one fitted, fairly new. i couldnt make it move at all giving it some welly, or twist or bend it, but that was one time. didnt look too nicer quality either, as i said, not bad, not GOOD, but not bad.
i ended up getting a suade momo one which was tonnes better, real solid, very well made and for 110 quid i thought was well priced:)
get a second hand known wheel, i got a moto lita one at an auto jumble for a tenner:)

When I bought it I had low expectations, but intact I liked it so much I've now got one for my Lupo but in the suede.
I can tell you for sure that they do not just snap... I've tried putting all my wieght on them and theyre fine abd haven't worn away either. The ONLY fault I can find is that the anodising fades to a browny colour, but I actually like that

I really like these! My mate has one in his 205 GTI. If I can work out what boss I need to order I may get one for the clubby.

If you like living, don't do it....... its pretty obvious fake wheels (as with most fake things) are bad news. Same treatment to both just done in a funny way. Plus you can buy a real wheel for anything between £100-200 new so why risk it?
Buy a fake wheel =
