Currently £167 in the account. Well done TMF!
At least you have enough to buy a new laptop charger and get drunk on New Years Eve.

If you use the money to buy booze that would be absolutely fine by me, if anyone needs a strong whiskey its probably you

Thank you for all donations everyone is so kind.
Thanks for suggesting booze with the money but i'm going to spend it to save the shell. I will hire a jet washer to jet wash it off and then pay to have it blasted or dipped.
I wouldn't spend a penny of it on myself and will photograph all progress on the 'save the mini 25 project' on here in the new year.
I will save this Mini and as many tools, equipment and parts that i can.
Merry Xmas to all.

So sorry to hear mate, whereabouts on the isle are you? I'm in Cowes at my parents, hadn't heard anywhere had got this bad
can't imagine how heartbreaking this is
We are in Shanklin.
We have a brook that runs alongside our property which got blocked with debris causing water to flow up the outlet pipe and up through the shower tray and basin in the bathroom and once the brook overflowed, it came over the wall like a tidal wave down the bank, onto the driveway through the garage and into our basement appartment. Within 20 seconds we had water up to our ankles and within 5 mins it was 5.5ft deep and we had bailed out.
It took the fire brigade 4 hours to drain it out.

I have just been on my hands and knees on the drive picking up all the christmas booze that had floated out of the garage and deposited themselves all over the drive under the cars!!
Washed the bottles and poured myself a drink!
Cheers
