The building work is completed!
I will take some photos when we get back on Tuesday and put them up.
The photos we were sent through are rubbish so would rather take my own.
Cheers!!

you will be settled back in before you even know it mate. first priority is to get the fridge stocked with beer

Not convinced about the radiator positioning in the front room
I know! It doesn't seem to get very warm either.
seriously though, its not been put back because we are arranging our own plumber to take the massive rad from the kitchen and put that in the front room instead.
we don't want a rad at all in the kitchen but we will get one of those portable oil filled rad's to go out there when it's cold.
Just need to build a breakfast bar in the kitchen using the nice big offcut of worktop that somehow ended up hidden behind the mini in the garage

Not convinced about the radiator positioning in the front room
its one of those new Dyson radiators, radical thermo streams...gets in the way of the coffee table though.

Visited a solicitor today about our claim to the highways and he was positive that we had a case but says one vital piece of evidence is missing.
He says we need a water engineer to do a survey to prove what happened that night. Thing is they cost ALOT of money to employ s we are now getting in touch with other residents that live alongside the brook and trying to put together a sort of band of brothers to take them on together.
So i came home a bit deflated and decided to recycle the old kitchen cabinets that the builders removed.
So that's made a bit of a difference. i have another one the same to go on one of the other walls so that will go up tomorrow once i have been and got some plasterboard fixings.
Only a few more days until the carpets go down and then we can get moved in.

Thanks alot. It is a strange feeling looking back at those photos. I will probably either delete them soon or back them up onto a CD, put them away and remove it from the computer.
Want to just forget now.
But yeah, it's all getting there now.
