Damm, I've just read through this and really feel for you.  Glad to hear things are getting better.

 

And here's me getting rather annoyed about the cat's getting fleas!  Kinda put's things in perspective a bit!

 

Oh and is the fund still going?

We were making our plans this evening for when the work is completed. Looks like we will have a bed, a kettle, a laptop and a couple of hanging rails to hang our clothes on to start with but we don't care a bit. It will be nice to just be home at long last.

 

Plus the poor mini has been buried underneath old carpets and god knows what else for several months now so i need to dig him out and show him some love.

 

i have some more panels for him so just need to buy myself a new grinder and i can get going with it!

 

I really can't wait!

Yeah, we are pretty excited now. Just concerned that they are not planning on replacing the bathroom

 

They promised us a new proper kitchen a few months back but this isn't happening now so we will just have the basics to start with and i will upgrade it down the line.

 

Oh well, new doors and frames, fresh plaster, new decor and carpets will be fine for us. It's no less than we had and as it is down to the landlord to negotiate then i guess it's up to him. It's his house so up to him i suppose.

How's the project going?

It's not at the moment mate.

 

We are staying with my mum in kent at the moment and have been for months so it's just locked up in the garage at the moment.

 

I will have updates on it though when i get back in the next few weeks..

We was told the 16th yesterday but we got an e-mail from the letting agent this morning saying Monday 18th August 8AM
