Only just read this, really sorry you have suffered this way.
Rather than give money to a paypal account Minispeed will offer you a £75 credit to spend on mini parts which may help you a bit.
Please email me [email protected] with your details so I can set this up.
All the best,
Scott

Somebody send Simon@MS a link to the page, they often do generous prizes. An extra £25 at Minispares gives Ben £100 extra on Miniparts.
Great work Scott and Minispeed!

Thank you Joe.
Everyone is so kind. The donations are going to be such a big help towards getting sorted out.
A building firm came out today and did a quote for the insurance company. Turns out they are going to have to completely gut the place out so we can't move back in for quite a while yet but on the plus side, at least it's going to be all new down here for our new start.
I have withdrawn some money from the fund to get some essentials and i hope everyone is cool with this but i have had the opportunity to get a new runaround cheap but i have to move fast and as the insurance hasn't paid yet for our other car i am a little short so am planning to use some of the flood fund to make up the difference and then put it back in once the insurance pay out which should be next week.
As i said before, i will be using the money to sort out the mini and replace tools lost and this will still happen.
I didn't want to do it this way but i don't have many options!
Ill post up more on that later.
Cheers everyone.

cheers.
It has been even harder without a car as nothing worthwhile is within walking distance plus my Mum has offered for us to go down to Kent where she lives to stay with her for a while until the work is done here so with a car, that will finally be possible.
Just hope its as good as it looks in the pictures and that it actually is a good car as described otherwise its back to the original one we looked at which is a right old dog!
Cheers

This thread makes me proud to be a member of TMF!
Use the flood money for whatever you need! Does the Mrs need a new hairdryer?

Are we going to spoons or the vineyard for a couple of beers then?

Yeah! and straighteners, curling tongs, crimpers and waving irons LOL!
She is making do with her mum's at the mo but a new hair dryer and maybe a pair of straighteners will be on the list. But that's to come, She is happy to wait while we sort everything else out. She is happy as a song writer that she managed to save most of her notebooks full of lyrics so thats one of the main things for her at the moment.
If you want to PM me your number, ill give you a bell when i know what's happening. No doubt ill be out and about probably with family as all my mates moved away from Sittingbourne since i left!
Cheers
