Dave, iv been told the Rally will be going through Cwm woods as per Clwyd Vale so i hope you have a good memory 

 

I went through it 4 times so remember it well.....trouble is I have been told that we are not going through there due to Pheasant nesting or something or other.  Could be wrong of course but I can tell you one thing...it is slippy.

Its been one hell of a year as our first season in motor sport is almost at an end. Tonight we will be heading over to Snowdonia to see if we can better our last outing and become Semi Experts !

 

My mission for the new year is to get Mellten MSA Log Booked so over the next two month expect a lot of post's 

 

As well as some Stage Rallies we are also going to enter at least two Regularity Events

.

 

Roll on 2015 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope it's not to cheeky to ask but how much was the Mini Sport Rolling Road and what is included in the price.. Cheers...

HI, it was that long ago i cant remember pal, The last session i had at my local rolling road cost me £75 including new jets and 8 runs. Its very important to know how many runs you get for your money when booking a session as there is a lot of trial and error involved even with the most experienced technician.

Iv got some engine and gear box upgrades to do over the next month based on the Technicians and Coopermans recommendations so it will be interesting to see what  the rolling road results will show.

Hi,

 

Would it be possible to get some measurements on where your seat rails are fitten, I am after distance back from thecross member   and distance from the inner sill and tunnel 

 

I would like to sanity check my measurements and thinking

Your in luck as I'm about to cut them out this week !! Iv bought new OMP seats/side rails and the bars as they are not in the correct position.

 

What seats/brackets are you thinking of fitting ???

Things did not go according to plan………..Gutted !!

 

As i started to strip the engine soon found the engine needed a full overhaul due to valve guide failure. Fortunately Mini Sport accepted the blame and reconditioned the head with higher grade guides free of charge and also sorted some other issues.

Decided to drill and tap an extra hole in the block to help when bracing the engine to my stand.

 

 

 

Opened up the oil galleries to give them a good scrub.
