Are you leaving your crank case breathers open or are you plumbing them in? As these can cause a vacuum to keep oil from leaking I have heard....:0)

Cheers James

All breathers will be plumbed into a catch tank mounted on the o/s inner wing where the screen washer tank if fitted.

Normally the breathers are plumbed to the inlet as it helps with Emissions but as its dirty Air it won't help with Engine Performance

Should have some results today on how she fairs

I have a funny feeling i may have to fit an oil cooler or electric fan as she seems to run a little warmer than i hoped. All will be reviled by lunch time.

Good luck getting everthing sorted in time and your car looks fantastic and may be in the running for best prepped car....winning an award without even turning a wheel.

Picked the car up this afternoon, iv been home an hour and still smiling.

The chaps at Mini Sport have done a wonderful job of setting the car up.I will sleep well tonight as I'm over the worst and will enjoy one or two cheeky drinky poos.

I won't get carried a way too much as there is still plenty to do, but with a full weekend off work i hope to have the bulk done so i can get some milage in next week before the Rally.

Things are looking up ! ;) will post some pics of my progress Sunday.

Well, Rhod managed to finish the car and get to the start of his first rally.

Unfortunately he wasn't classified as a finisher, going over the time limit (OTL)
