Been searching for ages for an Exhaust pipe with no success so I've found a company that would make me one. It's in stainless and needs a good polish.

I did that with a wire wheel on a grinder. I try to avoid it these days.

Snap did that before Xmas, actually burnt out the grinder where it tried to rip my overall off. Not big or funny.

OMG took my new exhaust to the polishers today to give it an extra polish and just thought I'd just check it fits ok before I put away safe until the build and I'm no genius but I think it's a bit too long :-(

Been a bit quiet this week but have managed to get the passenger floor cut out and prep the new one ready to weld it in . Also started scraping of all the old under seal and tar off of the boot floor.

Things have slowed a bit but both floors are in I also noticed my grill had a few horrible blemishes so I've had the chrome stripped off and have had the painstaking job of polishing between all the fins.

So off to the Chromer first thing in the morning let's hope I've done a good enough job in preparation .

Not sure of cost yet . What standard are you going to? As I have this grill that I'm going to sell
The face is amazing but as you can see from the picture there is pitting on the fins due to age
And difficulty in access to rub flat.

A grill like that would be more than good enough for me as not going concourse, but it obviously depends what sort of money you want for it, I haven't had a quote to do mine yet just had it stripped and started to clean it between the slats.
