Nice project.
 
FYI - The Dynamo is date stamped late 1970 and the carb has the very early brass top plunger

Correct me if I'm wrong but the c40 dynamo was fitted to 850/1000 cc minis up to 1972 and the carb is the original one fitted but with a brass plunger

Hi , yes it is the correct dynamo but date stamped wk50 1970 - so it has been replaced at some point.

 

Yes I like the look of the brass top too.

started on the starter motor today happy to find the date stamp wk8 1966 albeit the housing is a bit pitted due to time

I've also managed to find this nice NOS n/s side panel i'm looking for an o/s rear panel if anybody has one!!

Yeah lots of bit being zinced polished ect body work a bit slow as the welders wife has had a baby
I've sourced lots of genuine BMC original new bits also had a new set of glass cut....... Will post some pictures soon .

Ha ha your all heart !! I think he does it deliberately holly popped out the first baby when we were doing the pickup but rest assure all the while I'm restoring geoff's family won't starve

Hi all its been a while but things are coming on in leap's and bounds just trying to sus out how to attach some pictures when I try and use a file through my iPad its says file to big 😢😢 any ideas please.
