I think it's time to update my thread!I continued building the doors, front and rear subframe.Building each part separately and then joining them together you can understand the stability, the design of a classic mini provides.Any comments welcome as always.

Good evening.Your thread was an inspiration for me,but welding isn't one of my skills yet.At the end of the build,I'll think about turning it into an rc too.As I stated before, the whole build started a year ago,so many parts including the engine have already been built.

Time for update! The rear end of the car, along with the bootlid,A panels and front outer wings and front panel were built,so it's time for some colour! As I said,i'm going for tahiti blue, silver roof and silver bonnet stripes!Door cards and bootlid door liner, were also constructed, treated and painted to look like leather-suede combination! The dimensions of the model, are 60cm/30cm/20cm.Comments welcome as always!

looking great you could have made a clubbie front and would look spot proportion wise but roundnose is still epic

As I said the whole build started a year ago, which means that many parts, are already done. Also it's a paper model, which means it's easier than the one made out of steel.Ok back to the build. At this stage,I painted the front and rear subframes, made a start at the engine compartment, built the front suspension system, finished the the boot liner(repositioning ''somewhere'' the fuel tank,so as to increase the available loading space) and ran the fuel line under the floor. Also I made a set of four axles,to make the build easier(I'm also thinking of turning it into a restoration diorama!).The half interior was carpeted and windows were added as well.A silver line was added at each side of the model, waiting for the mini cooper emblems.PICTURES:
