Never driven mine more than 60 miles at once yet and have to get to London from Gloucester then to Brighton, just wondered if there are many breakdowns?  Are the AA/RAC etc on standby ready to mug anyone who cant self -assist?   Lol.

I will be doing last minute fettling the week before to make sure everything is as good as possible!

There's a lot of breakdowns yeh, but in the 60's,70's,80's,90's they were used every day, all over the place, after all, they were cars, meant for driving haha, 60 miles is just warming the engine up, I did 14,000 miles in my first year of mini ownership, pretty much trouble free, in fact, my 'modern sensible daily polo' has had a load more problems

AA/RAC are usually on standby though, they are very aware about L2B

Every L2B I've done I've ended up helping someone who's broken down. Id look into recovery (im with Britannia rescue - no cap on how many break downs you have) but if you break down, I'm sure someone would help!

Simon, according to the L2B site, there was initially 2100 tickets - has that been increased or has the tickets allocated to Minispares increased? (I'd imagine the club had some reserved?)

The total is the same, the amount we had available to sell changed as we have been selling them quicker than last year

I agree. It's a lot more efficient, quicker and easier. I don't have to send any cheques and envelopes and worry they might get lost or that I'm too late. Plus, i'd imagine they don't have to then wait for the money to clear (cheques take a few days as it is) as it is instant.

Just got my ticket : ) from mini spares.came next day great service. Me and my son will be driving up. I put not camping on order form but now changed my mind and want to camp on the Saturday. Will I have to tell them? Going to get a b&b or hotel in Brighton for Sunday. Any recommendations on where?
Thanks
