We are thinkin of going, never been before so what can we expect , what hapoens and where do you stay/camp any help any help and advise world be great thanks

Basically on the Saturday you head over to Crystal Palace where you'll be camping (most bring tents including me), line the cars up on saturday evening and have a bbq/get pissed etc or head over to the various pubs and restaurants nearby.

Sunday morning bright and early line up at the marquee to get your run placque and goody bag, grab a coffee/tea and pack up, then wait for the go ahead before embarking on a journey to Brighton. Once at Brighton, you can park up on Madeira drive and shop at the various stalls pitched along the sea front and visit the cars/clubs.

Saturday they sometimes have special events such as one year they had a huge screen showing films - not sure what's going to happen this year but it's the 55th anniversary of the Mini.

I bought a tent set from argos, was a quick and simple pop up one but was useless in terms of condensation due it it being single skin and there was never enough space so I gave it to my cousins.

For IMM and L2B I'm going to buy a proper one this year though.
