Hi,

My Mini project has finally started in the bodyshop, I looked at the suspension and it seems to have new Monroe shocks but new standard suspension cones etc.

I really want HI LO suspension to set the ride height nice, so I guess its a case of just buying a kit to work with the new Monroe shocks?

I've been looking at these two on eBay, one is £10 more then the other. Not sure which one to go for?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

I have Minisport's "Adjustride" set. Can't fault it.

I'm going for Adjusta Ride myself, so it's good to see someone else endorsing it hah.

I have genuine hi Los on the front and adjusta rides on the back. Both seem good. Avoid the cheap replicas, quality is very variable on the ones I have seen.

Ajuster ride is best as with the hi-los kit you need to drill ajustment holes in rear valance and holes through the front sub tower bolt for the rather long ajustment allen key............ >_<

MiniSpares ones.  Best quality and will last.  Easy to change heights too.  Couple spanners, jobs a good un.  Even in an ASDA carpark on the way to a show when you passnger was making it rub...!

So what is the difference between the Minispares HILO Kit and the Minisport AdustaRide?

These seem to be a good Mini parts supplier:

You don't! I've got genuine ones on mine and you can definitly adjust them with spanners in situ with out the need for any other mods
