Hi
Ive been away 1½ week for work, and currently sailing off Lands end, but my father and uncle have been working very hard on the van and some major things have happened, I will let the pictures do most of the talking.
Studs on the inner wings for wiring loom.
Primed and sealed.
Stonechip, and yes its 2 different colors but still the same and wont be seen anyway
And then primed again and painted in the final color. Its white but looks greyish because of the light and camera. The color is "Frozen white std" from Fords newest models.
One more in final color.
Now i cant wait to come home to it but i still have 9 more weeks of work onboard.

This looks fantastic - great work! Love the little custom touches such as the wiring loom studs for P clips and those awesome bonnet hinges. I'm looking forward to seeing this finished

The situation is, ive been at sea and working for 5 weeks and there is still 5 weeks to go before im home with my little car. Still some progress have happened.
A jig was made on the hydraulic lifting table, then this happened:
The old rotisserie was dismantled, and the car moved.
The car in its new location while being sanded and painted.
Also some repairs were done to the rear doors.
Thats all for now
See you later

Looking good some nice details going on there.
Wish I had a lift like that instead of having to lay on the cold garage floor!!!!

Thank you guys.
The lift is a 1000kg electric/hydraulic table from a production line, it had a lot of air pneumatic mounted which was scrapped. i think it lifts almost 1 meter. It was supposed to be a working table but my father liked the idea of being able to lift the car and work on it in different heights, and my cuisine needed the rotisserie for his '66 mrk 1.

Finally arrived safely home after 12 weeks at sea, only to find the biggest surprise of my life!
The mini had been painted!
My dad and uncle have been doing all the work and kept it a secret for my the entire time i was away.
I am speechless.
I am stunned!.
