Thanks! It's a bit harder to get the car finished now as we've moved to our own place and the car is still at my parents garage. I'm hoping to have it finished in the next 2 weeks and moved into the new home with the new big garage!

Thanks.. Although I've lost count of the amount of heads I have now. I think I have 2 or 3 standard 998 heads, 5 x 12G202 heads and the 12G295 head!

I spent the afternoon working on it yesterday. In 3 1/2 hours:

Second engine mount bolt in on drivers side (the rear one under the clutch). That took forever!
Exhaust manifold in
Radiator and fan on
Passenger side engine mount on.

No photos as I ran out of battery and there wasn't too much to look at anyway!

I've still got:
Remote extension housing
Hook up exhaust
Inlet manifold
Driveshaft couplings
Electrical bits
Oil pressure, coolant temp, vacuum gauges to hook up
Oil filter
Oil coolant
Etc..

I had a productive day... Only a couple of things to do now:
Oil filter
Oil
Coolant
New fuel line and filter to carb
Connect battery.

Well it was red before, and I can't bare to loose any horsepower if I painted it a different colour!

It's all back together and running now, I made it to the petrol station to fill it up. I've got an electrical short somewhere as I've got no indicators or wipers and the top fuse is blowing.. A job for another day!

I sorted out the fuse this morning and we had a fuss free drive into the new garage! It could just be my imagination, but it seemed a bit smoother and quieter on the highway...

I discovered some new roads today out near our new house.. Two hours of driving later I ended up home again and I gave it a wash

Nice, finding a cool road and just driving for the fun of driving is one of the best things to do, and it is doubly true when in a mini :)
