Hi.
When I have my mini painted it will need full new carpet. Will put sound proofing down first then carpet.

Seen this but now sure if there are better out there?

The cheap carpet sets are not a good fit around the tunnel and where it does up the toe board / bulkhead. But it does a job at its price.

The newton carpets are moulded and have sound deadening stuck to the back. The fit is good. Just like the original would be. But at a price.

It depends on your budget. If it can stretch to the newton carpet. It will be a good buy.

Go to a show or two. There are heaps of cheap carpet sets out there. They are very variable in quality bit all the cheap ones seem pretty average to be honest. I am saving up for a newton commercial one as they are much much better.

And thinking about it, Minispares used to to a very good one for a decent price, not sure if they still do.

Before spending big money on good carpets, run it with rubber mats until you are certain the body doesn't leak!

Probably the best bit of advice I have heard on here in months.
