Hiya, I started my wiring last night (waiting for subframe), found this very helpful.

thanks mate, the only problem with this for me is the fact i don't know what a lot of actually means for example a knock sensor lol

If you list the ones off that pic youre not sure on. I'll try get pics of mh engine where they go.

What loom are you using for the rest of the car? And what clocks?

Only if you're using a standard inlet manifold?

Its the iab - inlet air bypass... The ecu controls it to open a secondary set of butterfly valves (inside the standard inlet) at high rpm. The skunk manifold doesnt have them.

Just leave it off and leave the plug on the loom. I've read that it wont give an error code or warning light, but can't confirm this as mine's far from running :P

Hello Hegnirst

Build is coming together nicely, i wish the most amount of luck heading forwards. Shouldnt be long now with the pace your setting

Regarding your wiring labelling I've tried to figure out as many as I can, I didnt use the main interier loom, aslong as you can trace where the wires go from the engine to the ecu, relays and fuses then you should be fine.

1. Passenger side connectors, 4 pin one is for injectors

2. Earth for somewhere, possibly rocker cover

3. Lambda Sensor

4. Idle Air Control Valve (back of inlet)

5. Possibly knock sensor

6. Throttle Position Sensor, MAP, Speed sensor

Next post

2. Passenger side connectors

3. All orange plugs are ABS

27. Dizzy connectors

Hope this helps

The bit I don't get is what  I. Don't get is how or where do I connect the lights too and the indicator too? And stuff like that? Lol

Personally, I think it's easier to leave the mini loom in and just connect up the engine loom from the Honda.

Yep the above loom assumes you are using the mini loom for all the mini stuff. This is what I am doing any way.

Yea, I'd recommend you get a replacement mini loom. Much less work than using the Honda one for lights etc.

Well I have got my old loom still I just wanted to start afresh lol no way I could do this? As it must connect up to the loom somehow because there's a fuse box with lights on it etc

You 'could' do it if you wanted. Eg. Use the complete honda loom - shorten it all, re route it, change all the connectors etc.

But if you use your mini loom with the Honda engine loom there's only a few wires to connect. (12 live, ignition live, earth's etc) for the ecu to work.

hmmm i wasn't going to use the mini rockers but i suppose i could to be fair lol you make it sound soooo simple lol I'm no nearer to sorting out the wiring for the honda loom lol i need someone who's done the conversion before or similar and just have a list of what i need for the engine to run etc. I'm going to have a look at my mini loom tomorrow morning before i go to mini spares for brake lines :P
