looking good mate :D    vtec power ftw.  no looking back now!

one thing, be careful who MOTS that when its done, apparently cutting the bulkhead about is a big nono, so you could get hooked by the ear by VOSA for a silly test thing which could go right up shitally.

but crack on mate :D

thanks dude :) ive always wanted to do it but never wanted the kind of petrol tank that replaces the spare wheel so this was the option i thought of :)
i only say that as ive never actually seen it done before (just the filler neck moved) :)

I thought of doing the boot floor fuel cell too but wanted the boot space more.  I did it on mine and made a floating tank to mix it up a bit more too!

I did smooth off the tank strap indent too to complete the look :)

looks really good mate, what did you do to attach it? i was thinking about a welded bracket on the bottom of the petrol tank to the side of the spare wheel wall?

5 Gallon tank strap is located on the other side of the centre rib.  See the long bolt in the gap?  I put some foam on the underside of it for extra grip and to space it out a bit then fully tightened the bolt.  It's going nowhere!!!

Like the original smaller tanks.  They use an over the top strap rather thatn round the side.  Comes in two parts that tighten together to strap it in.  I bolted the short bit directly to the floor.  Works a treat :)
