Based on an MED Stage 3 Head with stainless steel 36mm inlet and 31mm exhaust valves. Has recently had the following work completed:

  • New bronze valve guides fitted and reamed to size.
  • Valves lapped in and new viton valve seals fitted to all 8 valves.
  • New double valve springs fitted with locating rings to ensure the inner springs don't move and bind.
  • Chambers opened to 28cc. Following that the head had a light skim to ensure flatness. This reduced the chambers to 27.8cc. The previous work was completed by Benross Racing to his usual high standard.
  • Force racing dry deck port fitted with a spare port supplied for the engine end. This has been notched to clear a DSN engine steady.
  • New coolant sensor fitted and all threads chased out with the correct taps.
  • Painted black as all the fastest engines are black.

I ran the head for approximately 5 minutes, only to find that no 6 push rod hole had broken through to the inlet port. The hole has been sleeved to resolve this.

£400 + £10 P+P, insurance can be added at your cost.

I am only selling as I fitted another head and can't be bothered to swap them back over.
