Where did you get yours 1984mini25? How did you fit it? Looks great

 

 

Mine is one of these...

 

I can't exactly remember what I paid for it being as it must have been around 2006 ish, but it certainty wasn't more than a tenner from a local motor factors. As for how it's fitted, its screwed directly into the inner rail along the top of the rear window with the wiring all fed behind the headlining and down the c pillar to the o/s rear light. Wiring it up is simply a case of taking a feed from the o/s brake light and an earth.

Sorry to revive a year old post - but I'm interested if you got this one in the end... I can see it's still available, but my only concern is that the full-length adhesive pads won't be able to stick properly to the Mini rear window because of the curve in the glass...?

I got a dihatsu cuore third brake light. Bolts on the parcel shelf well and I like that it's not led so is more in keeping with the mini.
