not really! There have been loads if threads related to the quality or indeed lack of when it comes to new parts especially non genuine. You might well have been one of the many unlucky ones who got a duff partNew wheel bearing cured the 12 and 6 o'clock play. A new steering rack cured the 9 and 3 o'clock play. Strange as the wheel bearing was new and had done about 1 mile?

Oh well, never mind, for the sake of about £15 I'm not going to worry about it :)

I had this week also play in 9 3 direction. Steering arm bolt was lose, just a half turn and the play was gone...

There should be two annular dowels between the steering arm and the hub, through which, your aformentioned bolt passes.
If you have had the play that you mention, those dowels should be checked for wear and at least rotated through 90 degrees, if not replaced.
I once saw very little prolonged movement, produce so much wear that for safety, both dowels, the arm and the hub had to be replaced.

Given the bolts have (or normally have) a Locktab, I find they stretch and that's how these come loose. Then after a while they break.
I'd suggest replacing these bolts with new.

Hi suggest you check that the setscrew holding the steering arm to wheel hub is tight, it is the one with the locking plate.
