Hello everyone,

I cant seem to locate my diagnostic plug anywhere, where is it normally located?

I have a 94 Spi cooper (John Cooper conversion) looks unmodified

I have located the alarm one (green) near the brake servo but having dramas locating the white one.

Any help would be much appreciated.

That is the mpi one, I've serched on here and people say its next to the green (alarm) one. So my next question is - does the white plug come out the main loom and is it possible its hidden behind the air cleaner.

Looking at the workshop manual (AKM 7169) the diagnostic connector for an SPi is under the bonnet on the bulkhead, left hand side just to right of the relay module.

It should have a black cover on it to prevent moisture and dirt ingress, so you might not see much of the white AMP connector. Have a feel around at the brake servo, it's sometimes tucked away (which means it hasn't be plugged into diagnostics for a while possibly)

This. Mine is between the air filter housing and the brake servo.  As you say it's white, but as mentioned has a black rubber condom type cover on it
