I had a sainsburys carrier bag blow into my garden.

Quite upsetting.

Absolute squat happened here in Shropshire. Bit of rain and a bit of a breeze but nothing out of the norm. We had heavier rain last week when there wasn't a storm.

My plan didn't work either. Still have the same old car and no trees blew down so I still had to go to work too. B***er

It was a bit of a let down in Bournemouth as well to be honest.I went out approx just after 12 last night. It was a lot windier on the seafront than near my flat, as you would expect, but its hard to say what speed it was. The sea was further in than I have seen it down here before. Walking into the wind resulted in horizontal rain into the face, which stings a bit but not much more than that really. Despite the amount of rain, there was still a lot of sand getting thrown around by the wind, and it may well have been that stinging my face, especially judging by the amount of sand that washed off me in the shower afterwards.

I think there were a few lives lost, including a 14 year old lad apparently swept out in the sea and a photographer in Dorset who got caught out, as well as the girl in the caravan and the older guy in the car. All in all, it seems a lot less severe than what was predicted.

Weather was a bit of a let down.
But the brief wind we did have managed to cause a lot of damage.
I work just down the road from where the gas explosion happened in hounslow.
And just outside my house part of a tree came down and took a few power lines with it.
Still havent been able to find out if my mini is ok though which is living at my uncles at the moment!

Well next doors washing were still on her washing line the morning after and not in our garden, that's all I was really worrying about to be honest. Imagine having her knocking on my door for her thong back >_<

The person taking the picture could have been facing south just to be pedantic.
