I used to know a bloke who was a keen Reliant enthusiast, but even he said that of all the owners he knew, they had all rolled them.

Three wheels is bad enough, but to only have one at the front is crazy!!

The 3-wheel Morgans & BSA's have the single wheel at the back with a big V-Twin engine at the front. Not quite so dangerous as 3-wheelers with the single at the front, but still far from ideal IMHO.

There was a 3 wheeled Citroen based kit car too.

The Lomax?

Those are still around too, and look a lot like the early Morgan 3 Wheelers too...

My Dad always wanted a Morgan 3 wheeler, with a JAP engine...

LOL Yeah I guess....

He was a proper biker back in his yoof, never wanted to drive a car, always wanted to ride his bike...

He used to have a 650 Bonneville and a Tiger Cub too, sold them both when his best mate got killed and never got back on a bike after that... passed his car test and that was it...

I do like motorbikes, but I'll never get on one.... too many idiots that ride them and then decide to blame the car driver when they fall off.... too many chancers on them thinking they're invincible... I know there's a hell of a lot of good and safe bikers that don't take the chances but also too many that do, then wonder why they're sliding down the road in their T-shirts getting gradually soaked in blood as the tarmac gradually wears away their skin down to the bones...

My stepsons weekend father rides a bike and to be honest he's very safe, always wears leathers and the proper gear, no matter what the weather... The idiots are the riders that get themselves a superbike or even a quick bike and start to ride it wearing just  t-shirt and shorts...

Back to the Bond Minicar, my Dad had one as his first "car" after his Royal Enfield bike ended up under a bus, thankfully without him still sitting on it. Much has been said about it's inherent dangers but sadly it was no safer for the poor old lady who stepped out in front of it and was killed. Dad was devastated but no way to blame, and it wasn't spoken of again for fifty years or so, long after Dad had passed on.
