This is brilliant, genuinely one of the best red Minis out there.

Then this happened !!!!!
Jack was sat waiting to turn right into a side street
He was hit at about 35mph from the rear corner then shoved into an oncoming car doing 30mph
Insurance is now all sorted
Picking up a new shell tomorrow, so the rebuild starts all over again
This is what she looks like now
Everything is stripped
Jack has a nice bit of wall art tho

It doesn't look that bent.
Could it not have been repaired easily enough?
Posted 29 July 2015 - 09:14 AM
Hi Ben
No she doesn't look that bad
But its when you get close & now everything is out of her you can see what is bent
Bulkhead, floor, boot floor, rear quarter, inner wheel arch, seat back, inner wing
The gap between the passenger door has been squished too
The list goes on
Tuesday 28th July we went to collect the new shell.
The new shell is home
So the "Ruby Two" build will start soon
There is a fair bit of work to do on the new shell before it goes anywhere near the body shop

Is the shell new or refurbished?
Looks pretty good
