We drilled holes and used stainless clench nuts
Then I welded them on the back, I know its going to the extreme. I have had one come loose and spin on me on the old shell
This was a chance to make sure it didnt happen again
They were all installed before it went to paint. and seam sealed round them.
When it came back from paint they were all tapped out to remove any paint that would cause problems fitting the bolts.
Hope this helps
Thanks! that sounds like a neat solution and the result is nice and tidy, where did you get your clench nuts from?

Hi Steve

I may have the dedication but Im not sure about the expertise.

As for the garage. Its not bad for a £63 ebay bargain.

It was an old Crompton concrete one from the late 70's
The sections are 3 inch this
I had to dismantle it and get it back from Liverpool
I got shouted at by the Mrs when I got it back and discovered that the roof was asbestos
I put that back on ebay and got £25 for it
I purchased a new corrugated steel roof
I managed to salvage the up and over door, and even the side door
I would keep an eye on the Bay of the E
