Yea I know it's only a pissweak alternator but it would still put out enough charge for the limited driving that the car would get when it's done ha

  Well really if the car is getting limited use you may need a far bigger alternator than normal in order to allow the battery to charge at its maximum rate.  If you only use the car for short trips from time to time you will really hammer the battery,
