Just got back from watching it; what a fantastic film!

On a side note, i drove a little fast on the way home (obviously) and its the first time ive drove fast in my mini and it has to be the most exciting thing ive ever done  :D

Not ppromoting dangerous driving or anything if there was other people about i slowed down and i slowed down through certain areas.

P.S of course by fast i mean 30 mph police officer  :shifty:

Films of this nature do have a tendency to give lead feet, that's why I made the Mrs drive

What an awesome film it was, who cares if it was a liter car or plane or whatever, that's not what it's about, it's about the rivalry between hunt and lauda, and was done awesomely, plus the mini looked awesome anyway

Saw the film last night, loved it. My wife said that some woman, in the queue for the toilet, said she didn't know it was a true story !

Rush - James Hunt Mini - Mk1 lookalike reg KLE 767D in film but as has been mentioned this was borrowed from a Triumph Vitesse missing since 1981 on DVLA.

(Mini may come up for sale in the near future)

Is this false advertising or was the reg. used in the film fake for identification reasons?

The reg used in the movie was a triumph vitesse one for age reasons as mentioned above, you can tell in the movie its not a mk1 anyway, not false advertising really

the car doesn't come with age related plates, and i bet the person who has bid that much for a 1985 car wont know that, doubt they would want to get pulled and fined on his first drive home after buying it,

Over 10k for it now. Looks nice but not genuine to mini fans. Spending that sort of money id rather have a decent genuine mk1.
