I sprayed my car at the start of the year and used jawel paints based in Birmingham and was very impressed. They have their own ebay shop which might be worth a look.

I use alpha paints in south shields, tyne and wear. They also sell some products via ebay.

Paint gun, depends on how much you want to spend.....ebay, amazon, machine mart etc

Sprayguns direct have some good guns, but it all comes down to how much you want to spend, a good used devilbiss gti off eBay is a very good gun and will out perform many cheaper guns. Or the sealey gold gun from machine mart gets good reviews. What paint system are you going to use.

Postage on paint is not cheap so might be best to find a local paint supplier.

Delivery is free with orders over £60 at Paints4U, they're prices are also very competitive and far cheaper than any local supplier I've ever used. http://www.paints4u.com/

just bought a sealey hvlp gun model 751 with a 1.3mm nozzle. i used to have a devilbliss which was brilliant, but i do not intend to spray loads of cars so £300.00 was a bit rich for me.was very impressed for under a ton.

would also recommend a regulator at the gun endand a partical filter at the other end of the hose you can pick them up for ten to fifteen quid each from ebay , if your a relative novice like me u tube has some great footage on how to set up the gun for spraying.

i used Jawel for paint as they have a shop in my town, prices were good and the advise excellent,  i would ring the address below as the guys there were top draw with me and went through the pros and cons with all the different types of paint available.

hope this helps
