Do you have your shed/garage and licence plate in your build thread that is easily recognisable? Don't forget that everyone has access to those photos and stories including thieves..

Licence plate is just a licence plate, having it online is no more risky that it being on the front of your car in terms of someone seeing it.

The garage is at a separate location to the cars details also.

While I'd say there's nothing distinctive about the photo's of the build, as they're mostly close up of the job I'm doing, there's no telling what is a 'tell' to a practiced eye.

Thanks for the kind wishes guys, the insurance letters are going off today so maybe there'll be resolution by Xmas...

The irony is I can't reinforce the door myself until I have some tools, but don't want to replace tools until I secure the door... Hmmm.

Went to the garage yesterday to had a clear up and whatnot. When I got there I noticed there was a line of finger marks on the top edge of the door, sure as hell wasn't me up there so I gave the chaps in blue a call and today they came out and took a look.

Found a print! Might come to nothing but never know.

Was a red one, Niki. Thanks for searching :)

That one is way neater than mine! I've been searching eBay daily but to no avail yet. Maybe the print will be linked to a local scumbag or something productive. Only just bought the ratchet spanners too :(

Was that from your time as a private eye? :D Thanks for having a poke around.

I think Helen from EMC is a boot sale diva so gave her a list.

Thanks chaps, the cab is similar (wish mine was a snap-on :P) I've got saved searches on ebay and flick through gumtree once a day.

The scrap collectors are unlikely to offer much info but worth a shot, indeed. Going to have a nose around the pawn shops too.

In a cruel irony they stole the engraving tool as well, not that I'd bothered with half the tools - easily forgotten when you have a shiny toy to play with.

What was yours like and I can try and keep an eye on it? Did it have any stickers or particular rust areas?

Rust?! Cheeky beggar, not it didn't have rust. Or stickers... Or anything really distinctive :(

Was pretty much like the once you found but the drawer layout was different, 5 deep'ish full width drawers.
