Peter Best used to do one but when I priced it up for a vw camper, MGB GT and Mini it was more expensive than getting three policies.

My combined cost was around £200 the multicar policy was about £350. Made no sense but that's insurance for you.

I have 8 Minis. two Maestros and a Montego on a fleet policy with Peter James, agreed values (totaling 84K), European breakdown cover, unlimited mileage, stored in various places for about £850.  Only one of the cars is modified, the rest are standard, my husband and me on the policy (42 years old, clean licenses).  I'm very happy with the policy and Peter James - I find them very helpful and easy to deal with.

Admiral multicar is pretty decent, you could try that, and you also get a classic car discount with an agreed valuation ;)

Might be because of my age but I tried to insure a 79 mini and admaril (and the sister companies) wouldn't insure it either individually or on a multicar with a vw golf.

I am currently with footman james, i pay around £150 per year, i have three Mini's on the policy (classic car) and if i need to add another or three it costs a £20 admin fee per car. On renewal, it just costs me the new policy price. I have so far not had any issues with FJ, but my son was affected when they no longer insured Young drivers on a classic policy. I know this caused issues for a lot of youngsters, but i feel for the more mature drivers, they still provide an excellent service. I will see what happens on my next renewal date.

You would like to think with someone as old as you Yoda ( what is it now at least 500 or 600 years) you would get it for free??? Mark you that light sabre maybe an issue if you get a dose of road rage????

Age has a lot to do with it. I'm 37 and I've been with FJ for 13 years and they have always been great with me. I have 4 cars on the policy with unlimited mileage/ breakdown cover etc and my wife as a named driver and it works out at about £132 per year for the policy :) I insure the wife's SPi on a modern policy purely to enable me to drive my family/ mates cars 3rd party and that's only about £135 fully comp. Admiral and Direct line to multicar policies so it may be worth checking them out
