Hi all,

Im George, chasing my dream to build and own one of these creations..

I have got a build thread on facebook if you hit this link;

https://www.facebook...=page_new_likes

The end goal is to have a road legal race spec minibusa to enjoy and race. Turbo's are in my mind for the future too but for now I think the budget is stretched just enough!!

The end goal is to have a classic version of the mini cooper works GP car... same paint and styling but faster!

cheers

George

Thanks,

Originally I planned on buying all the components needed from zcars in one go with a finance deal i managed to set up. However, I decided not to do that because I didnt want to get tied down to some serious debt! Therefore I am just saving and saving.. But will buy parts as and when I can afford them. What first? front or rear frame?

First of all, WORK SAFE! Wear gloves, a shirt, glasses and the protector on your grinder when you grind your mini in half...... You're not giving the best example here.

I started with the front frame so you can begin laying down the brake/fuel and clutch lines..... Cheaper too so you can fabricate and save at the same time.

You might run into problems getting your miglia rear arches to fit the race kit, I went through two sets before buying 8" extra wide arches from arc angel in the end.

Adam.
