Silicone Hose Repair?

Ok so i got Viper performance one piece silicone water hose for my mpi, it has been chaffing and now has a small split, can silicone hose be repaired?

Ok so i looked on the  viper performance website AFTER I posted this, but now may be helpfull to someone else. :shy:

 

They sell a silicone repair tape, looks good on thier vid, and others i found on youtube.

use this stuff a work, its well handy

Maybe for a temp repair but a replacement hose is a better long term solution in my mind, hoses are cheap enough to avoid problems down the line.

My MPI hose aint that cheap to buy.... >_<

use this stuff a work, its well handy 

we use the silicone repair hose at work on very expensive hose, it works a treat and although yes, a replacement is ideal, it is not always affordable, i can vouch for the repair tape to last a long long time if applied as per the instructions.

Becouse i have a silicone fetish, its like a rubber one, but more expensive ;D
