Its to do with the arch closeout panel i believe. It looks strange but thats the way it is.

I have got the two piece ones from M Machine for this car, a bit cheaper than Heritage.

Finally the inner sill is in although only tacked.

However there is a fly in the ointment here with the front floor pan section. It does not match at all :mmkay:  :mmkay:

so a bit of fettling later i used a bit of the original floor to sort it out, again though only tacked in place

It will all be good tomorrow though.

Hi Neil

Is this the MM panel 11.33.01.27 LH? If so can I ask what it cost including postage?

I am debating weather to use this or the half floor for my driver's side floor. The panel you used should do the job if its cheaper than the half floor it may save me a few quid?

The half floor is £75 inc P+P  http://www.ebay.co.u...=item43b12d0fb0

Cheers

Jason

Jason I honestly don't know as Will the owner of the car bought them along with a load of other parts.

I had the same fitting issue when I fitted that panel to my car
Unfortunately my old floor pan was toast so didn't have the option of slotting in a spare bit
Lots of head scratching and cursing I got a decent fit in the end

Looking good Neil!

Cheers Dan i'm just a bit miffed the floor pan is so far out but other than that its not a bad bit of kit. It will be interesting to see how i cope doing this on Paddy as i want to keep the companion bins in place.

I'm sure a man of your skills will manage just fine. I need to fabricate some of the sill strengtheners which spot weld to the inner sill and outer sill at each end. Also need to see what m-machine say about doorsteps, heard they now do their own so my dads popping in tomorrow hopefully to ask. then I can clamp everything up and hang the door to adjust everything before welding!

All good fun!
