I agree. They won't become the norm, but lets say for the sake of arguement they did, the government could tax you UK inhabbitants for the disposal of the batteries. Apparently there is no environmentally friendly way to get rid of them. i think hydrogen is the way to go. Or what about NOS? Isn't that nitrious oxide? If that can make cars go faster, than just make them run off it maybe?

N2O is an oxidising chemical. It is not a fuel. What a lot of people don't realise is when you have a nitrous kit, it also injects more fuel (diesels are a little different but they still need something to combust with the nitrous). Without the extra fuel then the nitrous doesn't do a lot.

This means that you will never be able to run a car on nitrous alone.

Ah ok

I just installed my rear-view mirror from the Mini onto my computer screen. It isn't being used on the car, as the car is under restoration. So I thought I may as well stick it to my monitor, and aim it at the door. That way I don't need to change my underwear whenever father is bringing me a cup of tea and my music is playing loud. :P

If you say so :P you sure it's not for something else you're looking at on the computer ;D

Well yeah, I don't really wanting him seeing what I intend to spend my money on! Some of those mini bits can come at quite a cost. And gaming too. He scares me sh**less with the tea then, because om concentrating so much! :P

Does anybody else's fridge make weird noises like it's almost talking? Mine's starting to sound like Frankie Howerd.

If i'm up late my fridge and boiler kick in at the same time and it genuinly sounds like 2 women whispering. None of my neighbours are women.

If its not my appliances, then either my flat is haunted, or the missus is having a telephone based affair...

Why haven't scientists developed stronger dilithium crystals or an alternative to them yet?

Every time something breaks in a science fiction program its always the fault of the dilithium crystal. You would have thought by now that scientists would have come up with a solution to them breaking, especially as they seam to be so scarce or expensive to buy right when you need to replace one.

Does anyone else think that the picture of the person rolled up in a fire blanket, that is usually next to a fire blanket when they are mounted to a wall, looks a bit like the back box of an exhaust?

Why are they having a Spitfire fly over at the war memorial gardens to mark the centenary anniversary of world war one?

I realise that remembrance day is used to remember all those that have lost their lives in any war there has been but last time I checked the Spitfire was a world war two aircraft not world war one aircraft.
