A guy in my office asks how many of the worlds nukes actually work.
He has a point as you can't test them before hand.

Just got one of those pop ups that says, "27 year old man discovers trick to make $3000 per month"
I assume that his trick is that he went to school, got a good education which allowed him to get a full time job, which requires him to work about 40 hours per week.
At the current exchange rate that only works out at about £32,250 before tax. This is not beyond the realms of plausibility for a career as a mechanical engineer (just an example) at 27 years old. It is probably a more legal and ethical method as well, than the one being advertised.

Is the whole Moatability vehicle thing a bit of a swizz? My uncle was down today. He's disabled. He disabled his stupid self by smoking 40 a day and now has serious heart problems and has numerous by-passes and stents and God knows what. He's just picked up a nice new freebie Nissan instead of disability benefits and this is his fourth or fifth.
He still smokes about 30 fags a day
I just think he should put the £300 odd quid he spends a month on fags into paying for a car instead of the state ...

I have known a few people who have motabilty cars that genuinely do not need them.
In fact i am sure alot of the claimants cheat the system with pretend illnesses in order to get the car.
My Nan for instance had severe arthritis and had a real job getting about. Now she could have got a motability car no problem but instead she went out and bought herself a car, insured it and paid for its upkeep her self.
It makes me laugh when someone claims a motability car on behalf of a disabled relative who cannot drive with the 'intention' of using it to take them out and to appointments etc but in fact just use the car for their own pleasure.
The whole thing is a bit wafty i think.

Was just trying to remember when we moved solely to decimal points on engines. My old Marina had an "eighteen hundred" engine. Can't even call it a 1.8 now. I had an eighteen hundred Manta too and a fifteen hundred Astra. But my Granada and Capri were always known as the "two point eights".... If you said now you've got a sixteen hundred engine in your Focus, people would look at you weird ..

Random thought of the day...........
Why could they not design the car so this didn't need to happen just to change a sodding sidelight bulb??????
And being a 12 year old car, things broke when taking it apart so i then had to come up with ways of sorting it in a hurry as it was raining.
Never again.....

Because if things were designed to be simples, then the main dealers wouldn't be able to charge stupid amounts and its French.

The only other car i have come across like this was my old Corsa C. Had to strip the front off to do a sidelight bulb.
You would think they would do it so that mr average owner could at least do bulb changes himself though.
It's just idiotic
