Just watched short circuit 2.

What the hell were we thinking regarding style back in the 80's or rather what were my parents thinking? There are pictures of my sister and I in multi-neon coloured shorts, t shirts and jackets when we were little kids.

My other random thought of the day from short circuit 2. Jonny 5 was originally a military robot that malfunctioned. If two guys in short circuit 2 can smash the hell out of him with a couple of crow bars then he isn't a very good design for a military robot.

Why didn't they just get an Indian guy to play Ben rather than using Fisher Stevens with brown face paint?

Who decided the size of a tea spoon as it is used as a unit of measurement?

Anyone else find that click of a torque wrench really satisfying?

On the subject of torque wrenches. Vauxhall wheel nuts are supposed to be done up to 80 ftlb not 80Nm. I got within a few miles of home and got really bad wheel vibration. Turns out a couple of my wheel nuts were loose. I did them to the wrong torque specs last week when I did the brakes. Oops  >_<.

You should try using a commercial torque wrench! The first time I used one, I was at the fitters we use for our lorries, he didn't tell me they bend in half when they reach the torque, I crapped myself!

I really should pack, considering were leaving to go to Portugal at 3 in the morning!

You mean you should start packing around 2:45 am right?

Why do people iron clothes before they put them in a suitcase? They are just going to end up with fold lines in. Better iron them when you take them out again.

Justin Bieber says he wants his privacy and that the paparrazi should have learnt their lesson after Princess Diana.

I think they did. Why do you think they are still following you?  :shifty:

I saw a fat woman in leather trousers. Not a good look.

Saying that though it could have equally been a walking sofa from the size of her/it.

My mum arranged for my step dad to pour the water over her but she was going to pick up the bucket quickly and chuck it over him instead but he realise and ran indoors. she chased him but he slammed the door in her face just as she threw the bucket of water and it hit the door and went all over her

LOL

OK been thinking about this for a good 10 minutes - is it forced cannibalism to feed orange juice to an orange tree?

Also I have so far escaped the ice bucket challenge on the ground that all I appear to have in my wardrobe are t-shirts, which will not be warm enough after said challenge.
