Can you get Down Syndromes in other races?  I've only ever seen white ones.

So, I was in the supermarket today and i noticed the trend for parents to allow their kids to eat/drink stuff from the supermarket that hasn't been paid for. Three things occurred to me

1) Is this technically theft as the goods remain the property of the supermarket until paid for ?

2) We would NEVER EVER EVER have been allowed to do this as kids. Are parenting skills so bad these days that parents take their kids to the supermarket when they're so starving that they literally can't get through the shop without eating it ?

3) I also wondered how many parents just hide the empty wrappers etc on the shelf to get out of paying ?

Yes it is classed as shoplifting. The same goes for spraying deodorant and air fresheners to see what they smell like.

We used to get it all the time when I worked at Wilkos. Everyday I had to have a go at someone trying to steal pick and mix. Often it was the parent I had to tell and all they ever did was have a go at me back or say something like "its only a couple of sweets". Yes this may be true but you are probably the 100th person today that has taken a couple of sweets. It adds up and you didn't pay for it.

As for the empty packets. We picked them up all the time and used to push them out from under shelving units with a broom.

can happen in all races - one in 1000 I believe

- some of the friendliest / trusting people you can meet (on a good day)

my sister in-law works with them - they can be very strong as well & they can live to old age - but rarely do

Sickle cell anaemia - only seems to be in black / asian races ?

In the history of man, has the mini brake fluid level warning light ever warned anyone of fluid loss and subsequent potentially catastrophic brake failure?

I would be so amazed if it came on I'd probably crash anyway.

Mine came on! It was fascinating, turns out my brake fluid level is fine...

Well the abs sensor wires on my vectra would be loose.

Just fitted my Eibach front springs on bilstein B6 shocks. They have the provisions for the brake pipe to clip to but not the electrical connector. I passed a cable tie through the clip and then through a spare hole on the brake pipe bracket. Not ideal but is very neat.

Just as I clicked away to look at a different thread it occurred to me, as I started this thread do I have the power to ask the admin to close it, no questions asked? No need to worry folks, I'm not going to do this but I would love to see how much people hate me for it and for how long after it was closed.

I feel a bit like the joker right now. I have no reason, I just want to watch the world burn.  :shifty:
