Don't know if any of you do it, but why do people like to touch peoples cars, like on the way back to my car at the cotswold tour, some guy was walking around my car trying to open the doors, what the hell? And today at the Imm one of the cars had do not touch and some guy was putting his hands all over it, annoys me a bit.
My old house mate Russ is the son of Neil Preston the guy who built the Twini.
Russ once told me that when his dad first took it to a show he had a sign on it that said 'do not touch'. Some guy kept putting his hands on the car and leaning against it which so Russ who was watching the car at the time kept telling the guy "can you stop touching the car please". He said the guy ignored him and ended up knocking the 'do not touch sign' off the roof which chipped the paint on the roof gutter and scratched the bonnet when it fell on it. His dad was not pleased.
It annoys me a bit when people lean against my car. I lean against my car when talking to people but then its my car so I can do what I like with it. Its not your car so you can't. One of my mate always leans against it and he wears his wedding ring which I am always conscious about touching my paint work. It never quite does but it does get really close at times which really bugs me.
