Why do I seem to be completely incapable of making a decision about what car to buy....Yet ALWAYS end up buying something on an impulse (usually on ebay without looking at it first) after months of deliberating and going around in circles?

Does anyone else feel really awkward buying a bottle of coke that has someone else's name on it or do you all spend ages routing through the fridge to find the one with your name on it?

Does anyone know how hot it gets inside a toaster?

When the starches reach 310 degrees Fahrentheit they start to carmelize (turn brown) - so the air in the toaster reaches at least 310 degrees Fahrentheit. The heating elements themselves, made of nickel-chromium alloy, can reach 1100-1200 degrees Fahrehneit

Do i get a prize?

Only if you can tell me what that is in centigrade. Farenheit is a mystery to me ... :shy:

310 degrees Fahrenheit =  154.44 degrees centigrade

So what's my prize?

A nice bit of toast :-)

Thankyou!  Only thing is, it was cold by the time i ate it and you forgot the peanut butter. Never mind

I spend longer walking to the till than I do looking for a certain name, all of it tastes the same no matter what name it says on the bottle so why worry?

My ex's family have a lime of bottles which has the name of each member, and has a 500 ml jack and a smaller bottle as there is two jacks.

Am I strange for not caring?

The last one I bought said "Mum" on it. I'm cool with that.

What causes ridiculous fears?

I have an irrational fear of windmills up close.

I could never visit one or go inside one. I just have no idea why!

And before anyone puts up a photograph of a windmill, pictures don't affect me..

I dont feel very comfortably standing near manaquins (or however its spelt)

Its just the thought that someone is standing close by, but they're not real :goaway: and when someone stands particually still in one spot.

But again, its not just some random person standing still in the street that does it

My friend Amy is scared of Santa, even now, aged 24.

My DT teacher at college found out about this so got everyone in my class (about 10 of us including himself and the technician) a Santa suit from pound land and made us wear them for she came in. I've never seen someone scream and run for the exit so fast in my life. We wore them for the entire 2 and a half hour lesson with my friend Amy sitting away from us all in a corner trying to avoid us.

Quality!

My mother-in-law is petrified of Vincent Price, particularly his evil laugh.

So when i moved in with them a few years back, we were all sharing a PC which was in the dining room. we each had separate user accounts.

When she finished using it, i jumped on her user account as she hadn't logged out and changed the desktop background to a close up photo of his face and the windows start up tune to his evil laugh.

I turned the speakers up to MAX and logged out.

when i saw her going to the computer later on, we hid in the next room and waited. she sat there leaning on her elbows waiting for the computer to load up and as soon as she clicked her user name, the laugh went off at top volume and the photo was displayed.

she screamed like a little girl stamping her feet up and down with her fingers in her ears.

we all rolled up laughing until she started hypo ventilating. When she recovered, she went ape!

It was well worth it and we still laugh about it even now.

Phobia of needles - even though I now have to have blood tests every 2 weeks at the moment

seeing the needle go in makes me feel rough - but when the needle is in - no problem ?

and not worried at the sight of blood ?

I even crushed a finger in half - still didn't feel as bad as a needle going in a vein . :X
