how come when you do number 2 you always do number one even if you have just been?

How come when you do the washing up and tip the water away there is always a teaspoon left in the bottom of the bowl? Even if you haven't used a teaspoon..

Definitely wee smells of sugar puffs.

If it was the other way round, then your wee would smell like sugar puffs all of the time and not just when you ate them.

I feel like an 8 year old saying wee! lol

weeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

Apparently these adverts are supposed to be related to what you search for but if that was the case mine should all be for car parts and radio control planes.

I have did get an influx of spam messages from "Asian girls in my area" after I added my friend Pakkapan from Thailand to my linkedIn account. She thought it was funny when I told her this.

The first couple of weeks she was in the UK she was fed up of guys asking her is she really was a girl. Unfortunately she came over for university about a week after the Hangover Part II had just come out  >_<.

Englishman, Irishman and Scotsman come across a magic slide. They are told if they yell something they want while they go down the slide they will get it at the bottom.

Englishman goes down and shouts beer and gets to the bottom and finds loads of beer.

Scotsman goes down and shouts whisky and gets to the bottom and finds loads of whisky.

Irishman goes down the slide. Weeeeeeeeeeee!

Why is the check engine symbol on my Vectra still look like a longitudinally mounted V8 with fan mounted to the front and air filter mounted on top yet my Vectra has a transversely mounted 4 cylinder turbo diesel in it? Its a bit out of date.

Why does my mum keep thinking its a tap? Last time it came on in her car she got home and asked what the symbol of the tap meant. I had a look at her dash and realised what she was on about when she pointed at it. My next question was (and it was slightly rhetorical) " did you stop and check everything was ok before setting off again" to which the answer was "no. Should have I?"  >_<

A couple more.

Where I am working today there is a work experience kid this week. He doesn't want to become an engineer or designer so why has he been sent to work with and engineering and design consultancy company?

Also about 5 months ago there was a girl working in the University workshop for work experience. She at least wanted to become an engineer but what moron at her school told her that she was to attend work experience while wearing her school uniform?

Jeans, t-shirt, overalls and safety boots are far more appropriate in a workshop environment even if they are not mandatory instead of a white shirt and tie.

Don't you just hate it when you think you've had a nice quiet day at work, and then you get suspicious at about 4.00pm and click "update folder" in your email and 17 emails pile in because you didn't realise your inbox, for some reason, wasn't automatically receiving them!!

Stupid thing

AVG wants to reboot - just when I'm halfway thru a post - so I delay a hour - only for the same to happen next time

also 'you don't have permission to access this folder' - (or various words to that effect)

I bought the computer & operating system , but I don't have permission !!! to access my own files ?

I hate microsoft updates.

I never ever switch my laptop off, When i'm not using it, i leave it in standby mode.

Microsoft decides to download and install updates without even letting me know and then inform me that the laptop is going to reboot in 10 minutes and a countdown begins. All well and good when you can just postpone it but when you are in the middle of some work and nip off to make a buttie only to hear the shutdown tune play from the other room where it has restarted on its own.

So why can't they just let you know it needs re-booting and then just not re-boot it for you. I will restart to finish the updates when i am good and ready!

Ben

Why does windows insist of updating itself just as I turn my laptop off at 5 to 5? Why can't it do as a macbook does and do the updates when it boots up? I have no issue waiting at 8:30 in the morning for a laptop to sort itself out before I get going with work. I have post to go through while it is sorting itself.

Why do people ask me to sort out electronics for them? I AM A MECHANICAL ENGINEER!!! I don't do electronics. That's what an electrical or electronic engineer is for. When stuff goes wrong and I don't know how to fix it don't be surprised.

Why do people when they come for CAD training where I work insist of moving the monitors and changing the position of the seats and backrest? You are only going to be there fore 4 days tops. I have come into work this morning and found the chair at the computer where I work to be at the wrong height, the arm rests have been changed, the back rest has been leaned back, the monitor has been lower and the angle. I have had to spend 15 minuets sorting this lot all out.

I can live with people changing the height of the chair as that is easy enough to put back but the back rest, arm rests and monitor and are bit of a pain to get right again.

Tea break over. Back to work.
