Makes up for this crap england game
I was hoping to see during the in break odds: 11/1 Rooney first player to be struck by lightning.
I'd put a quid on it.
He'd be smiling - thinking someone was taking his picture

Do scammers think I am stupid?
I have had four e-mails today asking me to confirm my details. One from BT who I have nothing to do with and three from Apple.

Why is the volume for adverts much higher than the TV programme ?
I find myself constantly turning the TV down when the adverts start

It was the same thing here in the US until they passed legislation prohibiting that a couple of years ago. So they fixed it, now the adverts are not loud but the TV programme volume is so low that you can not hear it!

Why do customers insist on leaving us their cars, knowing full well we have to road test them? Sitting here by the side of the road waiting for a gallon of fuel to show up...
I assume you mean why do they leave them with next to no fuel in them.
The reason we do it is so it stops mechanics borrowing our car and using it unnecessarily. A mate of my sister's who worked at a garage admitted to using her car to go down to Bristol and back (this is about a 300 mile round trip for us) as his wasn't working. She was not best please but at least he filled the tank for her before returning it so she did get it back with more fuel in it then when she left it.
Someone at the same garage wrote off someone's Bentley while doing a similar trick a few months later.

It's worrying that they do that - surely there would be an insurance issue if the car was involved in a crash?

The place that was doing this was also a dealership so I think they were driving the cars around on trade plates.
The garage in question has really gone down hill in the last couple of years. My sister has a dispute open with them after the last lot of work they did for her and after the service I got from them I refuse to use them any more.

What happens in the world cup if every team in a group draws every game by the same amount so they all have the same points? How do they decide who goes forwards? It can't be done on goal difference can it.
