The 3 min delay on a washing machine door - is more like 3 hours
until you walk away & forget the washing for 6 hrs (
there should be a no kids in the house setting on it - so no delay

Vauxhall very conveniently build flats into there ball joints which you can put an open ended spanner on it and prevent it spinning when you undo the nut.
Why can't other manufacturers do this (there may be some but I have yet to find another make that do)?
Also I am not sure if Vauxhall do this because their engineers are clever and think of maintenance or they just expect their cars to break so make them easy to fix. Either way. Thank you Vauxhall for making the job of changing the drop links on my Vectra quite easy.

A guy in the pub said that ScrewFix have opened a branch in Huntingdon.
I said "Oh no, not another dating agency"

Why do Councils persist with one-way systems (which were introduced in the 80s) which can't cope with the current amounts of traffic? And why do they insist on having 21 sets of traffic lights (Yes 21!) on my short 4-mile journey to work???

Why do microwave meals always give times for 650, 750, 850, etc watt microwaves yet every microwave I have owned has always been 600, 700, 800 watt? Its never what is listed on the packets.

One from the kid behind me at the checkout yesterday evening.
Why are checkouts called checkouts? His dad stopped, thought for a second and then realised he didn't know.
Also what would a lolly pop sign taste of if you were to lick it? Would it dissolve if you licked it enough?

Why has the council decided to close the main route into the town (that heavily relies on tourists), now for 16 weeks, why not in winter...

Does anyone else think that there should be a get out clause on court cases if the person trying to sue you has an IQ level below a certain level? This way we would hopefully breed (I put bread there the first time before I proof read my post ) a smarter society.
I just read an post on yahoo answers about someone asking how to sue a restaurant. After they told the restaurant that they had a nut allergy when they booked the table, they then proceeded to order pecan pie when they are actually there. They thought that pecans were a type of bird.
Earlier there was a screaming child where I work and It wouldn't shut up. The first solution that popped into my head was "burn the child". I probably shouldn't be allowed to look after children.

Why were wing/door mirrors invented for cars - most people I encounter dont seem to know what to do with them! (possibly linked to TheMiniDream's post about near death!)

My house mate at university was born exactly 9 months after her parents wedding anniversary. Coincidence? I think not.

Are ants into necrophilia? You kill one and a few minuets later you get 10 more all heading towards where you killed the first one.
